This league is for male players rated 3.25-3.5. This is a fixed-team league. Each team can submit up to two subs.

To sign up for these leagues, you must have or create a DUPR account and join our club, RT 12 Pickle. 

Minimum Teams: 8 (16 people)

Maximum Teams:12 (24 people)

There is a possibility of combining the certain leagues if participation is low in one or more leagues

(Rt.12 Pickle reserves the right to transfer a team to a more comparable rated league based on league parity)

Format:

We will have six courts available exclusively for league play, and each team will play two matches a night against two different teams. The first match will be played during the first hour, and the second match will be played during the second hour. Each match will be best two out of three. Games will be played to 15 points, conventional scoring. The first two games will be won by 2, and the third will be won by 1.

Weeks 1 - 6: Round Robin format

• A "round robin" is a style of play in which each team plays against every other team once. This means that each team faces off against each other in turn. Your wins and losses will determine your position for the playoffs. If teams are tied, total game points or point differential will determine playoff positions. 
• Example: 
• Hour 1: Team 1 vs Team 2
• Hour 2: Team 1 vs Team 3

Week 7: Playoffs

• We are going to create a bracket for the playoffs. The top four teams will get a bye in the night's first match. (This means you can play a fun game for the first hour or just sit out.) Winners from the first round will play the top 4 teams. Losing teams will play in the backdraw or consolation brackets.  

Week 8: Finals

• For the final week, the top four teams play for a spot in the championship game in the first hour; if your team loses, you will go to a match for third place. For the second hour, we will have the finals. All finals will be played on our Championship 34 foot wide court 
• If your team lost before this week, you will still be playing teams during this time. 

On Our Side:

• We will add your matches to DUPR after the game.Your DUPR scores will aid you going forward in signing up for future leagues and play. 
• We will send a weekly standing message about everyone's position and who they will play next week.
